Dallin for Japan, 4/1 Event

Dear Dallin Community,
We just wanted to send out an update and slight change to our plans for the up-coming event, scheduled for this Friday, 4/1.

Due to horrible weather prediction (rain and yes, more snow, yuck!), we thought we could take the event inside the building, in front of the Office for some nice, hot beverages instead of the big bake sale we initially planned. We will be selling hot chocolate with marshmallows and tea (green tea, regular tea, herbal tea). If you’re on a pick up duty this Friday, come early and enjoy a moment of calmness with a cup of tea, or grab some hot chocolate to go before heading out again into the cold!

If you’ve already baked something for us, thank you so much!! We will gladly take them still, please drop them off on Friday so we can sell them at the event.

So, to recap, on this Friday, 4/01 we will have:
Donation Box:
1.) We will continue to collect donations, and will have collection box(es) set up near the bake sale.
2.) We accept cash or checks addressed to: U.S. Fund for UNICEF.

Hot Beverage Sale:
New time: between 2:00-3:00PM, just inside the front entrance, in front of the Dallin Office.
Following applies only if you had already baked something for 4/1 event:

• Baked goods can be dropped off at school during drop off in the morning in front of the office, or bring them right to the sale.
• Baked goods should be individually wrapped for ease of sales.
• If anything contains nuts, please label as such (for safety)
  

If you’ve already baked something for us in response to our earlier email, thank you so much for your support!

Raffle:
1.) We have pictures of our four baskets on display (we’re afraid the baskets will get damaged during transport due to weather). Please take a look!
2.) Each raffle tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5.
3.) Drawing will take place on our last day of our fundraising event 4/8.
